JUSTICE NANI TAGIA ORAL ORDER 22-04-2025 This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of order dated 18.04.2019 passed in CWJC No. 8387 of 2019, wherein, District Magistrate, Nawada was directed to take an appropriate decision on the application of the petitioner for grant of Arms license positively within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

2. Opposite party No. 3/District Magistrate, Nawada and 4/District Arms Magistrate, Nawada have filed a show

Patna High Court MJC No.4201 of 2019(2) dt.22-04-2025 2/2 cause, wherein, it has been stated that the District Magistrate, Nawada has passed an order dated 17.01.2022 as contained in Memo No. 14 / General (Arms), whereby, the petitioner's application for grant of Arms license has been rejected on the basis of Police report from the Office of Superintendent of Police as contained in letter no. 198/Confi.(Arms) dated 21.06.2021 in which the petitioner has categorically been shown as an accused in the Warsaliganj P.S. Case No. 08/2017 dated 22.01.2017 registered under Sections 341/323/504/387/384/34 of the IPC.

3. On perusal of the show cause filed by the opposite party Nos. 3 - 4, I find that the order dated dated 18.04.2019 passed in CWJC No. 8387 of 2019 has been duly complied with by the respondents.

4. In view of the above, this contempt application stands closed and disposed of.
