Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sathi P.S. Case No. 65 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 144, 341, 323, 324, 307, 354 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting the husband of the informant.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case due to land dispute. It has been further submitted that the allegation of causing injury on the injured is not corroborated by the injury report. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37161 of 2018(6) dt.07-09-2018 2/2 custody since 16.04.2018.

Learned counsel for the Informant vehemently opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Sathi P.S.
