KUMAR ORAL ORDER 28-08-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the informant. The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Jalalpur P.S. Case No. 24 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 302, 504, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioner is that he alongwith co-accused Mantu Kumar Singh hurled knife blow on the father of the informant, causing injuries on his stomach, back, hand and nose and when the informant tried to save his father, the accused persons assaulted him also with knife causing injury on his left hand, palm, neck and head. Due to the injuries caused by the accused persons, the father of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34480 of 2018(5) dt.28-08-2018 2/2 informant died on the spot.
There is direct allegation against the petitioner of causing injury on the informant and his father. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
