ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 24-08-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner, being the husband of the deceased lady, is in custody since 12.03.2018 in connection with Mufasil P.S. Case No.543 of 2017 registered for the offence under Section 304B of the Indian Penal Code, which is pending in the court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran.

The marriage, admittedly, had occurred six months prior to the date of occurrence and there was a demand of dowry.

Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances and that the petitioner is the husband, I am not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36722 of 2018 (5) dt.24-08-2018 2/2 inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. It is, accordingly, dismissed.
