JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 26-06-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- " (i) For issuance of writ / order / direction in the nature of 'Writ of Mandamus'

commanding the respondents to issue a DBBL gun license in favour of the petitioner at once which is lying pending since 2012, in the following facts and circumstances of the case.

(ii) For issuance of appropriate declaration that the action of the respondents concerned in not issuing the said arms license in question in favour of the petitioner, who fulfills all the criteria, is highly illegal, arbitrary, malicious and not sustainable in

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application of the petitioner for grant of gun licence in his favour is still pending before the District Arms Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram, hence, he be directed to dispose off the same.

Having regard to the limited grievance of the petitioner, as aforesaid, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Arms Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram to dispose off the aforesaid application filed by the petitioner, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, forthwith. The writ petition stands disposed off.
