2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tetarhat P.S. Case No. 122 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 127(1), 118(1), 109(1) and 351(2) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is the assailant of the informant, who was given fire arm shot in his thigh.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 31.07.2024.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is the assailant of the victim, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

7. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same at the earliest. If the trial is delayed due to the fault of the prosecution side then the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
