The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Makhdumpur P.S. Case No. 297 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379,120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Informant is a teacher of Primary School, Kevatar, who in her written complaint has stated that while she was going to school her golden chain was snatched by unknown miscreants. Her son was informed about this incident, who tried to intercept the motorcycle borne criminals at Jehanabad railway crossing and could identify the culprits as Ravi Kumar, Ajay Kumar and petitioner. The informant also suspected hand of her headmaster with whom she had strain relationship.

No.36280 of 2018(3) dt.18-08-2018 2/2 It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has falsely implicated in this case only on the basis of suspicion. Neither any incriminating article has been recovered from his possession nor he has been put on Test Identification Parade. He is in custody since 20.01.2017. It is further submitted that similarly placed co-accused Ravi Kumar has been granted bail by another co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 25568 of 2014 vide order dated 18.09.2014. Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Smt. Bibha Rani learned J.M. 1st Class, Jehanabad in connection with Makhdumpur P.S. Case No. 297 of 2013.
