JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 26-06-2023 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the District Arms Magistrate, Gogalganj, to dispose off the pending application of the petitioner, filed in the year, 2019 for transfer of two arms license in the name of his two sons.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is possessing two arms license one regarding rifle and the other one pertaining to DBBL gun and for transfer of the same

Patna High Court CWJC No.18020 of 2022(2) dt.26-06-2023 2/2 in the names of his two sons, he has filed an application long back in the year, 2019, however, the District Arms Magistrate, Gopalganj, is not taking any action upon the same, hence, he be directed to dispose off the aforesaid application filed by the petitioner.

Having regard to the limited grievance of the petitioner, raised in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Arms Magistrate, Gopalganj, to dispose off the aforesaid pending application of the petitioner, in case the same has not already been disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
