The Petitioner seeks bail in Karai-Parsurai P.S. Case No. 20 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of causing gunshot injury on the vital part of the body (stomach) of brother of informant which is grievous in nature.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that incident is result of land dispute. It has been further submitted that the petitioner and informant are agnates. There is case and counter case. Petitioner is in custody since 21.02.2018.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37757 of 2018(4) dt.10-09-2018 2/2 Considering the fact that there is direct allegation of firing against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
