Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Complaint Case Nol. 597C of 2015 registered under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner has never demanded any dowry nor has ever tortured the victim. As a matter of fact, it is the opposite party no. 2 who herself is not desirous of living with this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.77570 of 2019(3) dt.18-01-2020 2/2 petitioner. Petitioner had also filed Matrimonial Case No. 341 of 2014 for restitution of conjugal rights. Petitioner is still ready to keep her with full honour and dignity. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 20.07.2019.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah at West Champaran in connection with Complaint Case No. 597C of 2015.
