In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Dumariya Ghat P.S. Case No. 81 of 2014 NDPS Case No. 49 of 2014 registered for offences under sections 414/34 of the I.P.C. and 20/22/23 of the N.D.P.A. Act. The prosecution case, in short, is that the police, on receipt of secret information, apprehended four persons including the present petitioner carrying Tokari on their head and also arrested two persons with motorcycle. On search, the police recovered altogether 22 packets of Charas weighing 11 K.G. from their possession.

Looking to the systematic manner in which the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75201 of 2019(6) dt.12-10-2020 2/2 Charas was being brought from Nepal as also considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected with a direction to the court below to conclude the trial expeditiously.
