The petitioners have filed this writ application for directing the respondents to grant benefit of 6th Pay Scale with effect from 01.01.2006 applicable in Nagar Parishad, Sasaram. Submission is that the petitioners are retired Class III and IV employees of Nagar Parishad, Sasaram. The petitioners

Patna High Court CWJC No.21812 of 2019(2) dt.12-12-2019 2/2 had given the representation before the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Sasaram, jointly for giving them benefit of 6th Pay Scale, which is already being given to the working employees, but, till today no attention has been given by the respondent, the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Sasaram, on the prayer of the petitioners.

Having regard to the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, let the petitioners file the detailed representation before the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Sasaram, respondent no. 4, within four weeks from today and the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Sasaram, will consider the same in accordance with law and pass the speaking order within six weeks thereafter and will ensure the payment of the dues of the petitioners without any further delay. With these observations and directions, this application stands disposed of.
