2. Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was refused by this Court vide order dated 26.4.2022.

3. Trial court's report dated 1.12.2023 reveals that out of 9 charge sheet witnesses, 5 have been examined, while section 83 Cr.P.C. process has been initiated for appearance of 3 non-official witnesses and summon has been issued to the last witness, i.e., the Investigation Officer for his depositiion.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 12.7.2021 and there is no likelihood of conclusion of the trial in near future.

5. Considering the progress of the trial, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected with observation to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a period of one year. Shashi (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) U T
