Petitioner seeks bail in Baruraj P.S. Case No.14 of 2016 (Tr. No.71 of 2016) instituted for the offence under Section(s) 399, 402, 414 Indian Penal Code, 25(1-b)a, 26(ii), 35 of the Arms Act and 20/22 of the NDPS Act pending in the Court of the 1st Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Muzaffarpur.

A report was called for from the Court about the present stage of the case, which has been received, wherein, it has been mentioned that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined. Statement of the accused persons under Section 313 Cr. P.C. has been recorded and the case is fixed for defence

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49050 of 2018 (3) dt.25-10-2018 2/2 evidence. The Court below has submitted that the case will be disposed off within three months from the date of report. In such circumstances, since the case is at its fag end, this application is disposed off with direction to the Court below to finally conclude the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, as mentioned in the report, and pass final judgment in the case.
