The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498 (A) of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 D.P. Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of committing torture upon the victim due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the informant has filed a complaint case on 10.04.2019 against the petitioner in the same offence before the learned A.C.J.M.- 1st, Jhanjharpur. Let, thereafter on 24.04.2019 the informant has also lodged FIR against the petitioner in the same occurrence.

The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.,-1st, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with Jhanjharpur (Arariya Sangram O.P.)
