2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 103(1), 238 and 3(5) of B.N.S., 2023.

3. Allegation against petitioner is that she along with her husband Lalbabu Yadav and other family members killed her daughter and concealed her dead body in the sand near the bank of Gandak river. The inquest report of the deceased shows that death was caused due to pressing of neck. During investigation, husband of petitioner confessed that he and his wife (petitioner) were annoyed with their daughter because she was in love-affairs and as such, he and other family members killed her by pressing her neck.

4. Learned A.P.P. vehemently opposes the prayer for bail and submits that it is a case of 'honour killing' and this petitioner alongwith other co-accused killed the deceased and concealed her dead-body near Gandak river.

5. Considering the same, the prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected. However, since petitioner is lady and is in custody since 06.06.2025, the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
