Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Munger Sadar Mahila P.S. Case No. 15 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Petitioner had earlier moved this Court for grant of bail in Cr. Misc. No. 53556 of 2016, which was rejected vide order dated 07.03.2017 (Annexure-4).
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is ready to keep with wife with full honour and dignity and in this regard he made all possible efforts to resolve the dispute, but it is his wife who does not want to live with this petitioner. In this circumstances, his prayer
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22901 of 2018(4) dt.08-08-2018 2/2 for bail my be considered sympathetically.
Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail without there being any new ground, and as such, the same is fit to be rejected.
In view of the fact that there is no new ground, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused. The application thus stands rejected.
