06-10-2018 Heard Sri Sunil Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner. None appeared on behalf of State. The sole petitioner, apprehending his arrest in Sarai P.S. Case No. 130 of 2018 registered for offence under Sections 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 35(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, has prayed for grant of bail in the event of his arrest or surrender. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been made accused on the basis of disclosure made by co-accused. He further submits that some other accused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail. However, after going through the statement made in paragraph - 3 of the petition, it appears that petitioner was earlier also made accused in a case relating to Excise Act and as
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51935 of 2018(3) dt.06-10-2018 2/2 such, I am of the opinion that there is no reason to entertain the prayer for anticipatory bail.
The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed. (Rakesh Kumar, J.) anay U T
