Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Kharik P.S. Case No. 240 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B) and 328 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant who is the father of the deceased has alleged that her daughter was frequently being assaulted and torture by the petitioner (husband) as result of which she took poison and died in course of treatement.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. She committed suicide by consuming poison. He gave information to her parents. He has
