2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 352, 351(2) and 3(5) of B.N.S., 2023.

3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that the petitioner and one other has assaulted the brother of the informant with knife.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is allegation that this petitioner has assaulted on left side of shoulder with knife but from perusal of the FIR, which is Annexure-P/2, it transpires that Afjal Alam has received only one injury which is simple in nature caused by sharp cutting weapon and that too in his right armpit. It is lastly submitted

5. The learned APP has vehemently opposed the bail application.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, let petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Thawe P.S. Case No.87 of 2025.
