The petitioner seeks bail in Muffasil P.S. Case No. 264 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of committing murder of his wife by strangulation.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the cause of death as per the post mortem report is asphyxia due to hanging. Petitioner is in custody since, 20.05.2017.
