2. Lastly, prayer for bail of the petitioner was refused by this Court vide order dated 7.9.2022.

3. Trial court's report dated 11.1.2024 reflects that out of 8 chargesheeted witnesses, only 1 witness has been examined and the case is fixed for evidence.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.8.2020 and there is no likelihood of conclusion of the trial in near future.

5. Considering the period of custody of the petitioner and tardy progress of the trial, let the petitioner as named above be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge, Sherghatti at Gaya in Sessions Trial No. 530 of 2022/137 of 2023.
