The petitioner is in custody in connection with Charpokhari P.S. Case No.48 of 2017, a case under Sections 304B/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is husband of the victim. There is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same and commission of dowry death for non-fulfillment of dowry demand. The report of the learned trial Judge would reveal that case has already been committed to the Court of Sessions on 04.01.2018. The petitioner is in custody since 17.03.2017.
