The grievance of the petitioner involved in the instant writ petition is indecisiveness on the part of the respondents in the matter of compassionate appointment of the petitioner.

The mother of the petitioner died in harness on 7.6.2018 while working as Assistant Teacher in Middle School, Devdha, Sultanganj, Bhagalpur. Thereafter the petitioner approached the respondents to consider his case for compassionate appointment.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.20750 of 2019(2) dt.17-10-2019 2/2 submits that the matter was examined by the competent Compassionate Appointment Committee but till date it has not been finalized.

Considering the object of compassionate appointment, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment and pass necessary order at the earliest preferably within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
