The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No.273 of 2017 registered under Sections 428 and 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner and two other accused persons, namely, Upendra Rai and Shatrughan Rai mixed poison in cold drink and served it to the father of the informant as a result of which he died, I am not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, his application for grant of pre-arrest bail
