The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered under sections 498A of IPC and sections 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation against the petitioners is of committing torture upon the victim due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners are innocent persons and have committed no offence. Petitioners have never made any dowry demand and have been

It is submitted that petitioners are the father-in-law and mother-inlaw of the victim and the complainant herself does not want to reside in the matrimonial house. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners. Petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioners, named above, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below, where the case is pending/Successor court, in connection with Complaint Case No.922 of 2021, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
