The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 301 of 2017 dated 24.09.2017 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Fifty Four litres of country made liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 25.09.2017 and does not bear any criminal antecedent.
Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56878 of 2017 (2) dt.05-12-2017 2/2 thousand) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII-cum-Special Judge, Excise, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 301 of 2017.
