The petitioners seek bail in a case registered under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is that some unknown thieves stolen away the motorcycle of the younger brother of the informant. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners are in custody since 4.7.2019. Charge sheet has been submitted in this case. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioners. The petitioners are not named in the F.I.R. Their name has transpired in this case as the number plate of stolen motorcycle is said to have been

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66810 of 2019(2) dt.21-10-2019 2/2 recovered. The petitioners had no knowledge regarding the same. The petitioners are scrap dealers. They had no knowledge that the number plate of motorcycle is stolen one. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioners are named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Araria in connection with Narpatganj P.S. case No.684 of 2018.
