The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Belhar P.S. Case No. 108 of 2015 for the offenses punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 387, 504 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
The allegation in the present case is regarding the petitioner and other co-accused persons having demanded ransom from the informant and others while threatening them of dire consequences in case the ransom amount is not paid. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that similarly situated co-accused person has already been granted bail by a coordinate
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.70246 of 2018(3) dt.11-12-2018 2/2 Bench of this Court vide order dated 11.04.2018 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 15185 of 2018. The petitioner is stated to be languishing in custody since 05.06.2018. It is submitted that as far as four cases pending against the petitioner are concerned, the petitioner has been remanded in the said case after being taken into custody in the present case.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Banka in connection with Belhar P.S. Case No. 108 of 2015.
