The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-B) a and 26 Arms Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 02.10.2022 and is a person with clean antecedent and allegation is of recovery of one pistol. The learned counsel next submits that petitioner has remained in custody for more than six months and will not abscond. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody and is a person with clean antecedent, let the petitioner above

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.688 of 2023(2) dt.29-04-2023 2/2 named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 327 of 2022.
