Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364,120(B)of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is in custody since 27.10.2016. The FIR of abduction is against unknown. On recovery, the victim of abduction stated before the police, name of the person in whose captivity he was kept in Jungle and that list includes the name of the petitioner also. Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail.
Considering the entire facts aforesaid especially the period already undergone by the petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.60196 of 2017 (3) dt.12-02-2018 and the fact that co-accused Ranjit Mandal @ Ranjit Don has already been allowed bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court on 31.07.2017 vide Annexure-2, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Hawai Adda, Patna Police Station Case No.170 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
