The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Dharhara P. S. Case No. 166 of 2017 registered under Sections 25(1-A), (1-AA), (1-AC), (1-B)A/26(i), (ii) of the Arms Act.

Regard being had to the serious nature of allegation made in the FIR that eight country made pistols were recovered from the possession of wife of the petitioner and the petitioner managed to escape, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.
