The case of the petitioner in short is that the bond of the petitioner, who happens to be the Home Guard no. 958, was cancelled by order dated 28.3.2025 passed by the Divisional Commandant-cum-Senior District Commandant, Bihar Home Guard, Saran, Chapra. The petitioner has preferred an appeal before the Commandant General, Home Guard-cumFire Brigade Services, Bihar, Patna (respondent no.2) on

Patna High Court CWJC No.16629 of 2025 dt.18-11-2025 2/2 1.7.2025 which is still pending.

3. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having gone through the contents of the petition, the instant application is disposed off with a direction to the Commandant General, Home Guard-cum-Fire Brigade Services, Bihar, Patna (respondent no. 2) to decide the appeal of the petitioner at the earliest, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. It is made clear that the Court has not gone into the merits of the case of the petitioner which is to be decided by the respondent concerned.

5. The application stands disposed off with the above observations and directions.
