2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80, 238 read with 3(5) of B.N.S., 2023.

3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that the daughter of the informant, namely, Sarita Kumari (deceased) was married to one Dharamveer Yadav. It is further alleged that she was subjected to cruelty on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It is further alleged that on 09.04.2025 at about 10:00 p.m., Dharamveer Yadav called the informant and informed that Sarita Devi has died.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is brother-in-law of the deceased. It has also been

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71883 of 2025(2) dt.13-10-2025 2/2 submitted that he is separate in mess and residence from the husband of the deceased. It has also been submitted that the main thrust of allegation is against the husband and the petitioner is in custody since 11.04.2025.

5. The learned APP has vehemently opposed the bail application.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-IIIrd, Lakhisarai in connection with Bannubagicha P.S. Case No.24 of 2025, giving rise to S. Tr. No.238/2025.
