2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 0441/2024 registered for the offence under Section 21(b) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (N.D.P.S.) Act.

3. About 21 grams of smack has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 13.07.2024.

4. This application is disposed of with a direction to the learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Araria to explain to the petitioner /accused the fact that the recovery is of small quantity and the maximum punishment for the offence is one year and if

5. If the petitioner pleads guilty, appropriate orders shall be passed by the Court below. In case, the petitioner does not plead guilty, he shall be released on bail by the learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Araria.
