1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 564 of 2021 arising out of Danapur P.S. Case No. 174 of 2021, dated 04.03.2021 registered for the offence punishable under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. This is second attempt of the petitioner to get the relief of regular bail as his earlier prayer was rejected by this Bench vide order dated 16.09.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 35143 of 2022 preferred by this petitioner.

4. The main submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner are that all prosecution witnesses have been examined in this matter and petitioner's case is running for recording the evidence of defence witnesses and the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75455 of 2023(4) dt.05-01-2024 2/2 has been languishing in jail since 05.03.2021 and he wants his trial to be concluded at the earliest.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail made by the petitioner.

6. Considering the stage of the trial of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to accept his prayer for bail. Accordingly, petitioner's prayer for bail stands rejected, however considering his long custody period, the trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial of the petitioner in the next four months.

7. Accordingly, the instant criminal miscellaneous petition stands disposed off.
