JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-02-2018 It is the petitioner's grievance that she has been wrongly shown as absent in the Science subject, in the result published by the Bihar School Examination Board, for Class-X (Matriculation) Examination, 2016. It is the specific case of the petitioner that despite her repeated requests and steps for invoking provisions of Right to Information Act, her grievance have not been redressed.

Considering the nature of grievance raised on behalf of the petitioner, I deem it proper to dispose of the writ application at

Patna High Court CWJC No.19210 of 2017(2) dt.20-02-2018 2/2 this stage itself with a direction to the Secretary, Bihar School Examination Board, to consider the petitioner's grievance and after examining the relevant records, take a final decision within a period of 8 (eight) weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

If the Secretary, Bihar School Examination Board, comes to a conclusion that the petitioner had appeared for the examination and has wrongly been shown as absent, in the result in the said paper, he shall proceed accordingly in the direction of publication of revised result. If the findings of the Secretary, Bihar School Examination Board, is otherwise, he shall communicate the decision to the petitioner immediately thereafter.
