Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 183 of 2022 registered for the offences under Sections 30(a) & 41(i)(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that similarly situated co-accused person has already been granted anticipatory bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 18.08.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 54032 of 2023 as contained at Annexure-P-2.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail, in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74215 of 2023(2) dt.28-11-2023 2/2 event of arrest or surrender before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 2'nd Exclusive Special Excise Court, Saran at Chapra in connection with Sonepur P.S.
