Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 36 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

About 385 litres of country made liquor was allegedly recovered from possession of the petitioners. Prosecution report has been submitted without proper investigation of the case. Petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent. Petitioners are in custody since 06.09.2019. Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail, after completion of investigation of the case against the petitioners, on furnishing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65091 of 2019(2) dt.04-11-2019 2/2 bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Excise Case No. 835 of 2019, subject to the following conditions:- (a) The petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.

(b) Both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
