====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SHAILENDRA SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-11-2025 The instant writ application has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the petitioners seeking the following relief(s):

"i. For issuance of writ of Mandamus commanding the respondent authority to correct the map of the land of Dhowa Nadi bearing plot no. 342, after deleting/expunging the map of plot no. 708 which is illegally been carved out from the map of village

Patna High Court CWJC No.17189 of 2025(2) dt.13-11-2025 2/3 Mominpur, Thana No. 120 of the year 1926 to its original shape as it was in the village map Baruna of the year 1908 without the map of the land of plot no. 342 aforementioned.

ii) For issuance of such other appropriate writ or order or direction for ends of justice, in the facts and circumstances of the case.

2. Mr. Mritunjay Prasad Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr. Sita Ram Yadav, learned counsel appearing for the State-respondents are present and they are heard.

3. The main grievance raised by the petitioners in this writ petition is that the Collector-cum-Settlement Officer, Patna is not taking any step on their application dated 01.08.2025 and in this regard the petitioners have also approached to the Anchal Adhikari, Fatuha and Diretorate of Land Records and Survey, Department of Revenue & Land Reforms, Government of Bihar, Patna, but even then no action has been taken on their prayer mentioned in Annexure- P/3.

4. This court is of the view that the issue raised by petitioners is premature for consideration by this court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, however, the Collectorcum-Settlement Officer is directed to look into the matter (Annexure- P/3) and take necessary steps as per the provisions

5. Accordingly, with the above direction, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.
