In this case, the petitioner is challenging the appointment of Sherya Kumari on the post of Anganwari Sevika at Center No. 48, Village Goplamath, Ekderwa, Block Thawe, Gopalganj.

The petitioner was discharging the duty on the post of Anganwari Sahayika, in the meantime, the Anganwari Sevika died and, whereupon, it has been claimed that the petitioner was discharging the duty of Anganwari Sevika after the death of the earlier incumbent.

Patna High Court CWJC No.19083 of 2017 dt.26-06-2018 2/2 During pendency of the writ application, fresh selection was conducted and Sherya Kumari has been appointed as Anganwari Sevika.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Center No. 48 has been reserved for General Category candidate whereas Sherya Kumari belongs to Most Backward Category and, for that, she has filed a complaint before the District Magistrate, Gopalganj through District Programme Officer, Gopalganj. In that view of the matter, let the District Magistrate, Gopalganj look into the matter and take a decision in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforementioned observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
