Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

Petitioner has filed the present writ petition for a direction to the respondent authorites to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassion ground. Father of the petitioner died in harness on 2.9.2011. The petitioner filed application in the prescribed format in 2012. But the respondent authorities has not taken any decision on the application filed by the petitioner for

Compassionate appointment is provided to the family of the deceased employee to tide over the financial hardship occasion on the untimely death of bread earner. Therefore, the respondents are directed to take final decision on the claim of petitioner who is dependent of employee died in harness at the earliest. Considering the aforesaid, the application is disposed of with the direction to the respondent No.4 and 5 to take final decision in the mater of compassionate appointment of the petitioner. Decision in this regard must be taken by the respondent No.4 and 5 within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of production of a copy of this order. (Anil Kumar Upadhyay, J) Sanjeev/- U T
