2. At the outset, Mr. Dharmesh Kumar, learned counsel representing the State, submitted across the Board that admittedly the petitioner superannuated on 31.03.2021 from the post of Typist in S.M.S.G. College, Sherghati, Gaya, filed the present writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondents to ensure payment of all the retiral dues as well as arrears of pension and the arrears of salary on account of 7th Pay Revision along with statutory interest over the delayed payment.

3. However, on account of intervention of this Court, all the substantive retiral/other dues have been paid to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.18226 of 2022(3) dt.09-01-2024 2/2 petitioner but without any interest over the delayed payment.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent(s) reiterates and reaffirmed the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner with regard to the payment of all the retiral/other dues of the petitioner.

5. Considering the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to file a proper representation before the respondent no.4, the Registrar, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, preferably within a period of four weeks from today.

6. If such a representation is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be considered and disposed of by a reasoned and speaking order preferably within a further period of eight weeks thereafter. In case, any interest over the delayed payment is found admissible, the same shall be made available to the petitioner.
