The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No.1494 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petitioner and his family members are said to have tortured the complainant for non-fulfillment of demand of additional dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a supplementary affidavit annexing the judgment dated 13.04.2022, passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71135 of 2019(9) dt.20-06-2022 2/2 Sitamarhi in Matrimonial Case No.10 of 2018 (Annexure-3) in which the opposite party no.2 has stated before the learned court below that the matter has been compromised between the parties.

Taking into consideration the fact aforesaid, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six seeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in connection with Complaint Case No.1494 of 2018, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
