This is an appeal under Section 14(A)(2) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 against the refusal of prayer for anticipatory bail vide order dated 11.06.2018 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge 1st -cumSpecial Judge, Nawada, in A.B.P. No. 724 of 2018, arising out of Nawada Police Station Case No.119 of 2018 (SC/ST Case No.24 of 2018), registered under Sections 354B/447/147/149/323/504 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3(i-r)/W(i) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Allegation against the appellant is of sexual harassment of the informant.
Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.2485 of 2018 dt.26-10-2018 P2/ Submission of the learned counsel for the appellant is that only the family members have supported the allegation before the police.
Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the appellant on anticipatory bail. Hence, the appeal against refusal of anticipatory bail is dismissed. .
