2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in connection with Shakurabad P.S. Case No. 207 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80, 328 and 3(5) of the B.N.S.
3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that one Khushbu Kumari was married two years ago with Sanjeet Kumar. It is alleged that she was subjected to cruelty on account of non-fulfillment of dowry demand. On 14.08.2024, the informant got information that Khushbu Kumari has been killed by the in-laws.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76198 of 2025(2) dt.19-11-2025 2/2 petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. He is father-in-law of the deceased aged about 70 years. He is separate in mess and residence. It has also been submitted that the main thrust of allegation is against the husband. Petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 25.05.2025.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the application for bail.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M. 1st Class, Jehanabad in connection with Shakurabad P.S. Case No. 207 of 2024.
