1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner appeared in the examination of Madhayama held by the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board [for short "Board"] in the year 2005 in which the date of birth of the petitioner was mentioned as 20-03-1987 but in the original certificate of the Board the date of birth has wrongly been recorded as 26/03/1987 for which the petitioner has made a representation before the Secretary of the Board vide Annexure-5 on 18-06-2018. On the representation of the petitioner no steps have been taken for correction of date of birth of the petitioner mentioned in the
Patna High Court CWJC No.21885 of 2019(3) dt.28-11-2023 2/2 Madhayama certificate.
2. Taking into consideration the nature of dispute, the present writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 / Secretary, Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board to consider the representation of the petitioner for correction of his date of birth in the original certificate after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The Secretary of the Board is directed to pass a reasoned order within a maximum period of two months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order.
