Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Raniganj P.S.Case No. 86 of 2018 (G.R.No.687 of 2018) lodged for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation against the petitioner, who happens to be the husband of opposite party No.2, is that he assaulted and tortured his wife for demand of dowry.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that after notice opposite party No.2 is residing with the petitioner. Heard learned APP also.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34516 of 2018 (3) dt.06-09-2018 2/2 Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, named above, surrender within a period of six weeks in the court below and on the same day opposite party No.2 shall appear in court and if the court is found that opposite party No.2 is residing with the petitioner then the court below will release the petitioner on bail to its own satisfaction.

With the above observation, this application is disposed of.
