The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Barbigha P.S.Case No.157 of 2002 registered for offences punishable under Sections 366, 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The case is of the year, 2002 and the petitioner has moved before this Hon'ble Court for grant of anticipatory bail on the ground that he had no knowledge about this case. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the case of other accused persons have been separated and the trial has been concluded against them and thereafter the petitioner has appeared in this case.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43354 of 2018 (4) dt.07-08-2018 2/2 Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides and in view of conduct of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner rather let the petitioner surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order and make prayer for regular bail, which will be considered by the learned court below on its own merit.
