2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Shahpur P.S. Case No. 619/2022 instituted under Sections 307/34 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code lodged on 14.12.2022 by the informant, Renu Devi.

3. As per the FIR, the informant is the deceased herself and according to her, she was tortured for dowry, the petitioner was habitual to drinking and on the fateful day, she alleged that after pouring kerosene oil, she was put on fire. The locals took her to the Apollo Burn Hospital where she recorded this statement.

4. The case diary has come pursuant to the last order

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75533 of 2023(3) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 of the coordinate bench, according to which, charge-sheet has been submitted in the matter against the other co-accused while the investigation regarding the petitioner is on.

5. In that background, the petitioner being husband, this Court does not deem it fit and proper to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail which is accordingly rejected. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ravi/- U T
